Pine Street Pizza

1138 Pine St.
215-922-2526

Pizzeria, Gayborhood

This corner restaurant is the typical pizzeria with nothing spectacular about the interior décor. However, it would be difficult to be unsatisfied with their large menu and, most importantly, the pizza is really cheap and good. Specials include a steak royal, chicken gyro and gourmet burger; also on the menu is a vegetarian special with mushrooms, olives, onions, tomato, green peppers and sweet peppers. The counter takes up the entire back wall and you'd be hard pressed to wait for a seat, as there are two large rooms with plenty of tables. Open daily, 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
