Her work was unanimously chosen from over one thousand submissions by artists representing five continents of the world.
"I shot the 'Manayunk in Winter' series during the 1999-2000 snowfalls in Philadelphia. I was drawn to the neighborhood by its blue-collar history, now celebrated through Manayunk's revitalization of industrial spaces for the cultural enjoyment of the city's people. Appearing bleak at first glance, a closer look reveals the images in this series to be quietly infused with sunlight. Like gray cinders cast back into the fire, the essential Manayunk is a glowing celebration of the hour when the working day ends."
Technical: Prints are digital inkjet with a stability far exceeding high quality C-prints. Images are 9.75" x 7.75" and available individually or in a limited edition portfolio.
