David Dworanczyk is 25 years old and resides in South Jersey. His work consists mainly of black and white photography with custom-made frames — "Images on paper that show a (usually) quiet slice of life; scenes that may remind you of yourself a little bit." He uses wood scraps, nails, distressed materials, sticks and twigs, rope, and other items to construct hand-made frames. David is also the drummer for the South Jersey band the Secession Movement, and records other bands in their studio, Couches in the Desert.

Technical:
"Power": B/W processing. A crack in a building shot up-close. When printed, a spot was covered to prevent part of the photograph from being transferred to the paper.
"Highwire": B/W processing. Camera pointed toward power-lines, bottom of my hand covering part of the lens to stop the light from hitting that part of the negative.
"Mousehole": B/W processing. Photograph of a heating/AC vent and part of a green rug up-close.
"Pipe": B/W processing.
"Quiet Night": B/W processing. Photograph taken at night with a long exposure time. Camera stood on a parking lot cement wall.
