 Morning Rounds, February 25th

categories | Morning Rounds

I barely watched a second of last night’s Flyers-Caps game (Florida – LSU, a game which left me with two thoughts: Calathes can board for a guard and LSU is weird), but if THIS GUY is Washington’s second best player, it’s not hard to see how the Home Team won.

(I should probably mention that the real reason they won is not that goofball but rather because the Flyers, by all accounts, played a phenomenal all-around game, every line played well, and Niittymaki was out of his mind. That said …)

“It’s the fans that need spring training. You gotta get ‘em interested. Wake ‘em up and let ‘em know that their season is coming, the good times are gonna roll.” — Harry Carey

Three lines on their world:

  1. Man U and Inter played to a scoreless draw

  2. Providence took out Pitt
  3. and Dwyane Wade continues to put up stupid numbers

Three lines on ours:

  1. Spring Training games begin today

  2. The Flyers beat the Caps in their building

  3. and the Phillies inked Chooch in what is probably their last move of the spring.

Phillies, Birds, Sixers, Flyers and what everybody is talking about after the jump

TODAY and MORE
