Kobe is Back in Town …

Sorry I’ve been gone all day, I promise it’ll be worth it
one day. It doesn’t make up for it, but
here are some quick Sixer/Laker pregame notes.
Pregame notes
- The Sixers won’t score 85 points tonight. Not only do the Lakers match up perfectly -
their only defensive weakness is small, quick, scoring guards who can get into
the lane and create havoc, the only such guard the Sixers have, Lou Williams,
is shooting at a 33.8% clip from the floor – but they’re pissed about their last second loss last night. - Stefanski took a Q&A before the game and talked
about the Sixers disappointing start, their ability to play big or small, and
his continued happiness with Elton Brand’s early returns. For what it’s worth, he didn’t exactly make it
sound like anyones job was completely safe. - The fans great Kobe
with a hearty round of boos. - It’s a Phil coached team, so this isn’t really of note,
but Andrew
Bynum wasn’t exactly happy with the Lakers’ rotation last night - The Sixers and Lakers are the two best rebounding teams
in the league – both in terms of raw numbers and differential, look for some
battles tonight - Thad finished 1-9 for only 4 points last night. Look for him to bounce back against Vlad Rad
(of course you should probably look for Vlad Rad to get a corner three or two
on the other end - AI2 broke the 20 point mark for the first time all season last night. He’s got a harder assignment tonight, but if he gets going the team might come with him.

I guess you won bruh. The Sixers scored more than 85 but I had them winning by ten. Didn’t happen. See you Saturday. Oh dig my Sixers/Lakers piece on SLAM tomorrow for the unveiling of Derrick Rose’s apropos nickname.
@ Mike, I think we both took a loss on our prediction challange – I’m thinking we should probably stick to analyzing from here on out.
Looking forward to the S/L piece
So the Sixers go off, Thad Young has a bad game, and Radmanovich does nothing. A+ day for you.
