 Morning Rounds, November 25th

categories | Morning Rounds

So one day after successfully completing his “ruin my young quarterback’s confidence” gambit, Andy Reid named Donovan McNabb Thursday’s starter, a move sure to please the Thankful crowd.

Reid was probably right when he told a crowd of reporters “better than anyone in [the] room,” but McNabb has always at least come off as a proud player who clings to his locker room relevance.  Maybe he’ll come out and light and world on fire Thursday, but I would guess that it’s more likely he won’t.  Donovan is a player who already presses too much early in games, I think it’s reasonable to suggest that one eye over the back shoulder isn’t going to change that.

And oh yeah, the 76ers lost to a joke of a Bobcats team. (ugh)

At least we’re all still WFC.

”This has nothing to do with Kolb’s performance or Donovan’s performance.”- Andy Reid

Three lines on their world:

  1. Manu Ginobili returned to action for the Spurs

  2. The Saints handled the Packers

  3. and the Wizards fired coach Eddie Jordan

Three lines on ours:

  1. Reid named his starter for Thursday’s game

  2. The Sixers lost to the Bobcats

  3. and the Flyers took down the Stars
