That was a true Philly moment! If Chase gets fined I’d be willing to bet all his teammates (heck half of Philly) would chip in to pay it.
The 610 WIP and 1210 WPHT talk radio technician may have been the only one to hit the button quickly enough to suppress the curse because I didn’t hear the second statement with the F-Bomb on the radio, I only heard the announcers going bonkers.
Funny thing: it was a simulcast over two Philly talk stations co-hosted by an irreverent everyman; 610’s Angelo Cataldi and a cerebral conservative lawyer 1210’s Michael Smerconish. Cataldi loved it. Smerconish was amused and immediately started thinking about legal ramifications. True Philly. Thanks, Chase!
