Morning Rounds, October 24th
Eric Bruntlett had a pinch hit home run to break up a
shutout in the 8th inning of the World Series. He hit it off a guy who embarrassed the last two
MVPs, was in college last year, and will qualify as a rookie next year. The only thing we learned last night was that
no one knows what the in the world the are talking about.

That might be one of our sloppiest games all year.” – Charlie Manuel
Three lines on their world:
- Tampa evened the World Series
- Lute Olsen is actually finished with one-and-done freshmen
- And the now-defunct EliteXC did not try and fix the Kimbo Slice loss
Three lines on ours:
- The Phillies dropped game two of the World Series
- and it was their own fault
- The Series comes back to Philly this weekend
Phillies, Birds, Sixers, Flyers and what eerybody is talking about, after the jump

TODAY and MORE
My hair is ballplayer lazy length, so I either need to accept the fashion mullet or get a cut. I’m choosing the latter, and as such will be out of the office for a couple hours today. Expect this, an edited down version of the 5000+ words of notes I took last night (sadly, no joke), NFL picks and maybe a few more quick htis. For everything else you’ll have to wait until at least Sunday, when I’ll be at the bank and will consider blogging live.
