Uggie Urbina is Back (kinda)
So I’ve never seen ESPN’s “behind the curtain” show: E:60. It seems boring, and obviously contrived. I’ve been in pitch meetings and trust me, even if story is fantastic and the writer is smart the meetings are not interesting. To make it a show they’d have to either 1. let it suck or 2. fabricate the entire process. They choose 2. Shocker. Still, when I heard that they were running a segment on former-Phillies-fireballer Ugueth Urbina I knew I wasn’t going to miss out. For those who don’t know, shortly after his brief Phillies career was over UUU knifed a man to death with a Machete – he’s been in jail ever since.
