Welcome Back, Jody Mac
Last Friday ESPN 950’s Jody McDonald returned Friday morning to his old morning slot 9am – 1pm. Jody, who had been sidelined with heart surgery, is coming back with a partner – Harry Mayes, formerly (?) of the Locker Room show.

In a profession without a terrible amount of like able characters Jody Mac has long been one of the good guys – when I first heard he was coming down I quick search of my records to find out when I had sat down and talked with him, I searched for maybe ten full minutes before I realized that not only had I never interviewed the man, but I probably haven’t said two words to him either. I had thought I known him because I’ve been listening to him forever and he’s been that good.
Welcome back Jody, maybe I’ll find a reason to actually sit down with you one of these days.
