The Nationals Fans are as bad as the Nationals Players
It’s an older post, but I just came across the Nationals fans running their mouth and thought I’d say a few quick words. via Nationals Enquirer
Nationals Park was invaded by throngs of fat Phillies fans in XXXXL
Chase Utley jerseys. Enquiring minds want to know: what the hell is it
about the 6′1″, ~200 lb. Utley that makes 5′6″, ~300 lb. fat guys go
out and purchase his jersey en masse?
I know it must be surprising to see an actual fan at your ballpark, but c’mon guy … isn’t making fun of other fans who have successfully invaded your shiny new fanbox asking for it a little bit? If you tried to come to the Bank rocking a Nick Johnson throwback Philly fans sure as hell wouldn’t write home about it, they’d either do something, or (and this one is WAY more likely) ignore you because you’re rocking a fucking Nats jersey. We care about our team, not the team with the league’s worst record.
Not that it doesn’t get better. Fire Jim Bowden makes the claim that it is Chase Utley who is the dirty player, which ignores the fact that Lannen broke Chase’s hand last year, hit him again this year (with Flores set up directly behind him), then hit it again two nights ago. Please, your goons make Utley look like, well, your goons.
Well played guys, your class is up there with your Teams’ Talent.

Hey, thanks for the link, prick!
Where to start?
First, it’s Lannan, not Lannen. And the idea that he intentionally hit Utley while down one run in his MLB debut with Howard and Rowand on deck is psychotic.
Let’s just say that retaliation was needed. We’ve been beaned by you guys EIGHT TIMES this year, including THRICE on Monday. How much retaliation do you need?
Well, I take solace knowing that your old/good school knuckle-head manager will hurt your team more than ours. When Hamels gets a mysterious case of tired arm in the playoffs because your tough-guy manager thought an 80-inning pitching increase was a good idea for a 23-year-old budding ace, don’t come crying to us.
Accident or not … he broke his hand, then hit the same guy AGAIN.
check your facts Steve, it was the Phils who got hit three times, the Nats only twice.
And way to show character there, hitting him AGAIN (at least the third time the Nats have hit Utley this year). You’re just lucky Ryan took his revenge that way …
if you guys have a player worth hitting he should totally watch his back tonight
Hey Nationals Enquirer guy, at least the Complex HAS a prick, let me try a new contraction: you’nuch
Hey Complex, New Rule: Don’t link to morons, just quote em for our entertainment
DC is a fine town, Manny Acta is the man, the Nationals should be named The Senators, Ryan Zimmerman is legit, Christian Guzman is a nice story, NationalsEnquirer guy is a low-brow creep
