As much as I hate the man for getting all the ladies, the Phillie Phanatic is widely regarded as the greatest mascot in sports. However, titles like that aren’t just thrown out aloofly by jerks with internet access and too much time on their hands (yeah, right) – they need to be won, and defended.
That last part brings us to HomeRubDerby.com’s (annual?) MLB Mascot Tournament of Champions. We’re joining live from the second round, where the Phanatic is squaring off against some giant green unidentified monster from Chicago.
Sure it is irrelevant and daft, but it is also another chance to get Philadelphia a much-needed championship. Go off and cast a vote for our big green fella.
