Ed Snider, owner of the Flyers and 76ers, is turning his back on our city, or so the New York Observer says:
In what surely must be yet another brutal blow to the self esteem of
Philadelphia, that cute Pennsylvania city that pretends to rival New York, its biggest sports mogul, Ed Snider, has paid $7,340,000 for
a high-floor apartment at Robert A.M. Stern’s 15 Central Park West
A brutal blow? Dude paid for a 7+ mil apartment (that I can only assume is a storage unit) without a mortage. The Sixers and Flyers are doing better than I thought.
