DeAndre Jordan to play in Philadelphia
categories | Draft, basketball
ESPN’s Dana O’Neil just came out with a piece on Texas A&M and soon-to-be NBA DeAndre Jordan’s training. What caught my eye was this passage:
He spends upward of four hours a day in the gym at Philadelphia College of
Osteopathic Medicine (the same place the 76ers practice) before heading back to
his hotel room.
Apparently he’s working out with ex-NBA scout Steve Rosenberry – who I found a pretty creepy picture of below. Anyone know anything about this? I’ve been following the draft for years and have never heard of Philly being a training grounds for prospects but Jordan has made it his stomping grounds, and Mike Beasley just left.

Roseberry used to work for And 1. He did clinics back in the day. if i recall he’s a bit of an excentric. But hey, if Jordan thinks that he can get help him get to the leagu more power to him.
Good look Tuck – I feel like you gotta be kind of an eccentric to be a pro scout, with all the travel they have to do they have less social lives then the CIA.
