- Jeff over at Unbreaded pops by Meal Ticket fave Q.T. Vietnamese Sandwich to get the story behind their excellent banh mi selection.
- Drawing for Food’s Hawk Krall debuts two new local entries into his hog dog drawing pantheon, including the dirty water dog. “I don’t know if Philly Dirty Water Dog is really a regional style,” writes Hawk, “but you know what I’m talking about.” Yeah we do!
- Center City hotel seer The Illadelph shares that the restaurant in the 10 Rittenhouse condos will be located on the corner of 18th and Sansom. So who’s going in? Mike Klein says Serafina and Todd English are in talks, but Illadelph points out that Stephen Starr’s a possibility, as well.
- Did you know there’s a mile-long stretch in Newtown Square that features multiple delish pork sandwich options? Us neither. Main Line Dine has a primer on what to order and where.
- David McDuff visits the Doughnut Plant in NYC and eats — shudder — a Yankee doughnut. We hope he is OK.
