In the Nov. 27 edition of Feeding Frenzy, I wrote about the new brunch menu at West South Street’s* Novità Bistro (1608 South St., 215-545-4665). We got a copy that you can check out after the jump. It’s straightforward and affordable, the most expensive plate being an $11.95 serving of steak and eggs. Hours have changed slightly — brunch is now being served Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (You can also check out the full opening dinner menu, which I posted in October.)
* What do you think — is “West South Street” a viable moniker? The area between 15th Street and the bridge into West Philly is so much different from the drinkity Broad-and-below universe. Shouldn’t there be some sort of codified distinction between the two?
