Drink in Northern Liberties, go out to dinner in Old City, get mugged in Kensington – and now sleep with them too. Or maps of them at least. Thanks to Brooklyn based design group, Haptic Lab, you can now get the map of any neighborhood you desire sewn into a blanket. As aesthetically terrible as that sounds, these "soft maps" make more sense when you look at them.
Though the stock quilts are all of Brooklyn neighborhoods, for an additional 10% of the base price, the choice is yours. Hapic Lab encourages buyers to customize their topological sheets. Tell them a place of personal importance, and they'll stictch it into your soft map. Best of all, the quilts are made to be used. Hand stiched from dupani silk and organic cotton, they're sure to last. Prices range from $300 for a crib quilt, to $600 for the full size.
If you aren’t looking for any bedspreads, Haptic Lab also offers hand made pillows and cuffs.

That’s pretty cool.
I love these… my personally important places would have to be stitched in…. Love Park for watching the 4th of July fireworks, running from the snakefish at the Lakes and of course a tiny me dodging the moron drivers on my bicycle ride from South Philly to work.
