Partial transcript of Fox’s interaction with Goode; allege his aide was at his house while on the clock
Below are a few selected interactions between the Fox 29 reporter and Councilman Goode today.
Essentially, Goode's aide, who sits behind him in chambers, held up pieces of paper with the words Fox, KKK, and drawings of a hooded figure while council was in session. When the media began to gather near her, she got in a Fox cameraman's face and stormed out a side door, returning not long after.
A few minutes later, after introducing his bills and resolutions, Goode told Council President Verna that if he didn't return, to vote "I" for him on all bills and resolutions that came up. Goode also left by the side door, and the media waited outside about four possible exits for him. Turns out he returned to the council floor not long after he left.
Fox finally caught up with Goode when session ended, and a nearly four-minute exchange began while Goode walked to his office on the third floor.
Fox is essentially asking why a female aide on Goode's staff is claiming, on time sheets, to be working on the city dime while they say she was with Goode at his house with a case of beer -- a scenario they say they have on tape. They also asked Goode why she spent the night at his house.
Goode's response, toward the bottom, is that he has to check the time sheets and see what day they were signed. A mistake could have been made, he says.

Fox: What is racist about me asking you about your pubicly paid employee and her hours, sir?
Goode: I'm going to send you a written response and talk to [other reporters present] about whatever they want to talk about.
Fox: Councilman, you have said that she has made mistakes. What are those mistakes, sir?
Goode [to the Daily News Reporter]: You have a question, Chris?
Ed. Note: The middle section is mostly inaudible, since Goode was walking through doorways and down the stairs with the reporters around him. This continues in the third floor hallway about a minute later:
Fox: Councilman, please explain to me why you walk in to your house with her, with a case of beer. What's that about? While she claims to be on the job.
Goode: First of all, let me explain this to you, I will give you a written response to whatever you want. Also, how I walk into my house, who I go into the house with, at any point, is my business.
Fox: It's okay for you to walk into your home, with a paid staffer, while she claims she's on the clock, and you've got a case of beer. Explain that to us councilman.
Goode: Explain what to you?
Fox: That she is on the clock, in your house, while you walk in, with her, and a case of beer.
Goode: [inaudible]
Fox: Do you remember that incident?
Goode: No I do not.
Fox: Do your staffers, while on the clock, go to your home while you have a case of beer?
Goode: Absolutely not.
Fox: They don't? Sir, we absolutely watched it happen we have it on tape.
Goode: The issue is whether the time sheet was filled out that day or filled out another day.
Fox: What is she doing at your house mid-afternoon? When she's on the clock?
Goode: I told you I don't think she was on the clock.
Fox: You don't think she was on the clock?
Goode: I don't think she was on the clock.
Fox: Her time sheet says she's on the clock.
Goode: And I'm going to tell you the time sheet would have been a mistake. If it was filled out that day, then, that's a problem. If it was not filled out that day, then it's a mistake.
Fox: Why is she leaving your home at 11:30 in the morning appearing as if she may have spent the night there, sir?
Goode: Now you're being disrespectful.
Fox: No I'm not sir. That's what we saw.
Goode: You are being disrespectful.
Fox: Why would she leave your house mid-morning?
Goode: Leave my office.
Fox: Leave your house, sir. On camera. Leave your house.
Goode: No, no, leave my office. Leave my office.
Fox: I'm not in your office, I'm in a hallway. It's a public place.
Goode [walking into his office]: Now this is not.
He probably told her to vote “aye” not “I” for him. Unless it was some really long multiple choice vote.

Wilson Goode Jr. is an idiot. He knows that his employee was caught falsifying her timesheet, and steeling time (and tax money) from the taxpayers.
And then he gives those lame responses.
He should not only fire Bryant, but also resign from his office.

Mr. Goode is a great legislator. City Employees don’t always fill out time sheets on the same day. I used to be one. Some City Employees don’t fill out timesheets at all in different depts. Latrice Bryant is probably one of the brightest, helpful workers that you will find in City Hall (Black or White) I believe the there was a mistake on the timesheets! Many nights I when I worked for the city I saw Latrice leave work late helping constituents. Don’t believe everything the media feeds you! He should fire the other 2 women who work in his office who I believe are behind all of this. They hate her because she is pretty and smart. Many believe Ms. Greene and that Latina girl Leslie called FOX 29 on GOODE and Latrice. They all make decent salaries in his office but those two slow women from the back alley are really jealous of her. Its a dam shame. Here we have to dumb asses (W Goode Jr., and L bryant). In one hand we have L Bryant getting caught on camera coming out of Councilman Goode’s Jr. house late one morning after a night of who knows what, pictures with Goode in the carribean, and holding up racially charged signs. How retarded can she be. And on the other hand we have councilman goode jr. dipping and dogging legit questions. Almost seems as if he’s taking up for his woman(lover). His dumb ass should also know better. Its a dam shame, love can make you act like a dumb ass - even when your caught.
