Brown Betty,
the popular sweets shop in Liberties Walk owned by mother/daughter
Linda and Norrinda Brown, will open a second location this September at
269 S. 20th St. (currently Country Elegance) in the heart of Rittenhouse. The ground-floor
space, which'll be around 200 square feet in size, will join a ton of
eateries on the block, including Audrey Taichman's Audrey Claire and
Twenty Manning, Snackbar, Seafood Unlimited, The Spot, D'Angelo's and the
forthcoming Yoshi Sushi (we which hear might no longer be forthcoming).
