Interesting piece in this morning's Daily News detailing the government's inexplicable, hurtful witchhunt against one of America's finest leaders.
Federal prosecutors laid out their fraud and tax-evasion case against T. Milton Street Sr., the outgoing mayor's flamboyant brother, in court papers filed Friday.
The 36-page filing said that prosecutors might call as many as 47 witnesses to testify against Street, including his own son and a woman familiar with Street's wagering practices at the Philadelphia Turf Club. ...
If convicted of all charges, Street could face three years behind bars under advisory sentencing guidelines.
