This week we've got a three-way for y'all on the CP Player.
Start off with Malik B, the one-time second MC for The Roots who's getting back into the game, with the help of Haak Blast, with the Psychological EP. Clog Omnibusman Zach Mortice discovers that Malik, who battled substance abuse, has found a new fix writing, producing and even packaging his own music: "It's fun. It's like drugs or some shit." Read Zach's interview with Malik and Haak here.
But that ain't all. We've got Adam Arcuragi's excellent eponymous debut which features the sick-catchy "1981" among its 10 other equally catchy tracks.
And then check the hyper synth-pop of West Philly trio Pony Pants and their debut Til Death Do Us Party.
Pony Pants and Acuragi are part of episode 009 of Local Support, our bi-weekly music podcast hosted by Jon "The Human Radio Station" Solomon . You should check that out now.
