Camac

Brick-oven-fired pizzas, panini, lobster mac 'n' cheese and hummus platters are on the menu at Camac, the new redux of the elevated Gayborhood space that's housed all sorts of restaurants, most notably Girasole. The action is spread out between two glittery bars on the main floor; wine list is mostly Californian, and the beer list's got your Dogfish, Hoegaarden, Sierra Nevada and Sam Adams thirsts covered. They're open daily from 4 p.m. till 2 a.m.

S & H Kebab House

Sal Kucuk, who owns Ridge Diner in Roxborough and Black Horse Diner in South Jersey, is aiming for the first week of February to open S & H Kebab House in the former Overtures just off Fifth and South. Chef Huseyin Yuksel (he's the H in the name) is planning a hyper-affordable menu, with most kebabs (think chicken, doner-style lamb, broiled fish, veggie options, etc.) topping out at $11.95 and $7.95 lunch specials. The BYO will be able to accommodate about 95 heads. So much simultaneous kebab-ing potential!

>> LITTLE VITTLES

>> Rittenhouse's Rouge (205 S. 18th St., 215-732-6622) has launched a new lunch deal — two dishes for $16. Available weekdays from 11:30 to 4, the "choose two" menu features a smoked salmon BLT; short ribs with white bean ragout and braised cabbage; pan-seared scallops; and an economical 3-ounce version of the Rouge Burger.

>> To celebrate Barack Obama's inauguration, both Di Bruno Bros. locations (930 S. Ninth St. and 1730 Chestnut St.) are offering 20 percent off all domestic farmstead cheeses throughout January. This includes Shellbark Sharp, the West Chester-produced goat cheese that the President picked up on a campaign visit to Philly.
