Filiberto Magnati, former wine director and head sommelier of Gulph Mills' Savona, opened Di Vino in the space that was Valentino on the Square. He's offering about 60 wines by the glass and 350 by the bottle — France, Italy, Australia and New Zealand are just a few of the countries of origin. Every item on chef Bridgitte Minich's French/Italian small-plates menu is $18 or less — highlights include the Di Vino salad (baby arugula, shaved fennel, dried strawberries, pine nuts, Shellbark Hollow Farm sharp aged goat cheese); Berkshire pork belly braised in a sarsaparilla sauce; and pink peppercorn-crusted bluefin tuna.

Naked Chocolate Café
3421 Walnut St., 215-222-3710, nakedchocolatecafe.com

Slightly smaller than the Center City original, the new installment of Naked, from Tom Block and daughter Sara, debuted last week. Doors open early (8 a.m.) to accommodate the morning student slam. Most all the options you've grown obsessed with — cupcakes, boxed chocolates, sweet bevs — are available at the new spot, in addition to many new items, including fresh-baked muffins and cookies and what Block calls "savory puffs," doughy treats filled with brie, goat cheese, ham and cheddar, roasted veggies, etc. Naked's third location, at 18th and Chestnut, should be open by the end of the year.

Caffeination
2100 Chestnut St., 215-568-8006, caffeination.com

Mitchell Cohen, former VP of EBGames, unveiled this rather literally appointed coffee shop right down the block from the new El Fuego. (Burritos and baristas!) Coffee and espresso's roasted by West Chester's award-winning Morning Star. The café also offers breakfast and lunch items, from eggy sandwiches on breads/bagels, muffins, meaty and vegetarian panini and salads.

>> LITTLE VITTLES

Apothecary Bar + Lounge (102 S. 13th St., 215-735-7500, apothecarylounge.com) has introduced a new "Recession Proof" line of $6 cocktails. Available Sunday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to close, tipples include the Morning Glory Fizz (Scotch whiskey, absinthe, egg white, sugar, siphon water) and the Brunswick Sour (claret, bourbon, lemon, sugar, red wine). Check out the full menu on Meal Ticket.
