Not all ghosts are of the haunting variety. Slightly awkward and completely endearing, Ghosticorn is a cross between a unicorn and Casper-type ghoul. The playful hybrid is the star of a new line of T-shirts by local artist Todd Marrone. In addition to the signature creature, his limited-edition designs feature traditional unicorns and PacMan-reminiscent robots. American Apparel jersey creates a soft and snug base, while glow-in-the-dark ink provides the special effects.

In the future, Marone promises some hometown beasties. "We're Philly guys," he says of his design team. "We're hoping to do some Philly designs. Maybe a Ben Franklin monster character."
