Rim Café
1172 S. Ninth St., 215-465-3515

This keep-it-simple Euro cafe in the Italian Market isn't 100 percent just yet, but the coming weeks should see it up to full working capacity. They're still waiting on all the equipment to arrive before rolling out the full menu (hot/cold sandwiches, salads), but in the meantime, they're offering soups and fresh croissants and baguettes. Once everything's settled, staffer John Lattanzio says they'll be open 24/7. Bite This: The creamed cappuccino, a super-sweet dessert-y take on the classic sipper, has been popular thus far.

Le Bec-Fin
1523 Walnut St., 215-567-1000

If you're anything like me, you get nosebleeds when you receive press releases heralding Georges Perrier's "belief in continuous innovation." (A bit lofty, no?) Still, major changes are afoot at the Death Star of the Philadelphia dining empire. Former French master sommelier Christophe Tassan is now the general manager, and they've added a $90 four-course dinner menu that's available Monday through Thursday. Fun Freedom Fry Fact: In a coincidental show of solidarity with Joe Vento, the menu will be written in English.

>> Waiting List

Le Bus Bakery
135 S. 18th St., 215-569-8299

In case you're walking by Le Bus in the next month or so, and you're all like WTF when you see it's gone: They moved down the block. Literally. Staffers and signage alike have indicated that Le Bus will soon travel from 135 to 129 S. 18th St. The size will stay the same, but a new layout will allow for a small seating area in the back.

El Wingador's To-Go
Fourth St. and Girard Ave.

Five-time Wing Bowl winner (and Hall of Famer … yup, there's a Wing Bowl HOF) Bill "El Wingador" Simmons recently announced plans to open an eponymous casual eatery later this fall. The local hero's got a knack for self promotion, so we're confident this will go well. Unless, of course, Sonya "The Black Widow" Thomas decides to open up shop next door. Awkward.
