Why should you pay off Sal Mazzotta to make Mafioso II: The Son, his followup to Mafioso: The Father, wherein the director-writer's character took over his pop's family after the big badda-bing?
Well, other than watching Mazzotta figure out how Johnny "Roast Beef" Williams, who died nastily in the first one, can come back to life, think of it as protection. Protection from the fact that all too soon there'll be nothing but Sopranos reruns when it comes to newish Philly/Jersey mook-mob fare. Protection from having to see all the Italian actors Mazzotta's employing doing more questionable stuff, like Sbarro commercials. Nobody wants that.
And if ex-American Idol Justin Guarini is busy filming this with guys like David Proval (Mean Streets) and Ed O'Ross (Six Feet Under)we can be assured he's not, you know, doing something else.
Plus, Sal and Galdo's are laying out a big spread. Mange.
