Bust out your leather chaps, fringed jacket and "If you can read this, the bitch fell off" T-shirt and skip town this weekend with the 19th annual Ride for Life.
While it sounds badass, the ride has a big heart: In nearly two decades, it has raised almost $11 million for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
This year's event kicks off Saturday at East Penn with a bike show, vendors, Texas Hold'em, food, live music, a Harley Davidson demo fleet and kids' activities. Participants can then bike to Reading to boot scoot with country artist Billy Gilman. Rest up, then jump back on the hog for a Sunday motorcycle parade to Dorney.
Big plus: Every $325 you raise gives you a chance to win a 2006 Harley-Davidson signed by Willie G. Davidson. Riders of all bikes are welcome, but prepare to be mocked if you bring a Honda crotch rocket.
