Either way, Penn Relays, the country's oldest and largest amateur track and field competition, promises to be heaven in a stadium.
Since 1895, the Franklin Field races have drawn countless fans and about 15,000 participants, ranging in age from grade school students to senior citizens. It's not all newbies, of coursethe races also attract record-setting athletes from around the globe. Champs like Wilma Rudolph, Marion Jones and Allyson Felix have competed in past years. Watch for future Olympic hopefuls, who traditionally make a splash at the event.
