Gender Bending Live Art

Tranny Road Show

Sun., April 23, 7 p.m., $10, William Way LGBT Community Center, 1315 Spruce St., 215-732-2220, www.trannyroadshow.org

They all look so damned young. Punk rock guitarist A.J. Bryce from St. Louis. Zine-writing violinist Jamez Terry. Comic performance artist Citizen Rahne Alexander. Poetry-reading activist Kelly Shortandqueer. Storyteller Tab Dansby. Yet between the wealth of talent and the multicultural experience each of these performers brings to the Tranny Road Show's table, we'd say they're ancient and wise, attacking queer and transgender subjects in a ramshackle DIY fashion. So dig in.
