Jager's
45 S. Third St., 215-592-1613
The owners of Mint changed the name and concept of Saint Jack's in November, aiming to make it the starting point for Old City barhoppers. One thing to notethis isn't Denim, so getting a cocktail might be hard. Barkeeps hope to have a 30- to 40-item shot list and 20 beers on tap by mid-January. All brews and shots will set you back no more than five bucks, and if your little sister is in town, you can get pony buckets for $7 to $10. It also serves reasonable tavern food (burgers, wings, etc.) until 1:30 a.m. Bite This: Oh yeah, the name. It's got $3 Jäger shots all day, every daythe perfect deal for drinkers who don't have Jäger horror stories (yet).

Warmdaddy's
4 S. Front St., 215-627-2500
Owner Ben Bynum (Zanzibar Blue) is excited to announce that the Dad, known for its live blues and Cajun cuisine, will be moving to Columbus Boulevard in 2006. They're adding an extended patio and a roof deck and will diversify the live music choices. (They're staying tight-lipped for now about which acts they're considering). Best of all? The new location will offer free parking. New Year's Eve was Bynum's last stand in Old City, throwing a final-curtain celebration to honor the ball drop. It's a bit of a waiting game now, as there will be a six-week construction period before the new location opens. Although several parties have expressed interest in the soon-to-be-vacated spot, no one has purchased the old property, currently owned by 4 & 6 S. Front Company.
