This year, Rabbi Moshe Brennan wants you to skip the popular Chinese-and-a-movie ritual and bring the fam to his annual Chanukah on Ice party. There'll be skating and hot chocolate, Jewish music and traditional Hanukkah songs pumping on the stereo, a table where kids can make their own menorah candles and armloads of free gelt. The Festival of Lights really starts rolling when a crew of chain saw-wielding lumberjack-types carve a giant menorah out of a miniature iceberg. Eat that, Santa.
