The world's foremost celebration of the potato pancake reconvenes for the third time in Philadelphia. Lucky Seven

Hail Mary! It's the feast of the seven fishes, and Penne's taking the "nobody can eat just one" maxim to the extreme. Pasta chef Roberta Adamo will be hosting a cooking class dedicated to this traditional Italian holiday celebration. In addition to incorporating all seven fishes into different pasta dishes, there will also be a wine flight sampling. Having tired of the fast-paced world of alpaca breeding, Eagles Crest owner Laura Soto has decided to make wine, which she's introducing through a series of free wine-tasting events. The tastings begin with Chardonnay and also include Pinot Gris, Cabernet Franc and sparkling Pinot Noir. Themed wine gift baskets will be on sale for $15 each. BYOB Orchard chef James Howard has unveiled a special winter menu to keep the chills at bay. For a limited time only, try the green apple and butternut squash soup, a teriyaki- and mirin-marinated hanger steak with asparagus tempura or a venison shank served with a celery root puree. Soup Opera

Jenny Craig got your mouth wired shut? Great news! London Grill's new menu may be fed intravenously. The Fairmount staple is now offering four freshly cooked soups everyday. The selection includes mulligatawny, shrimp bisque and vegetarian black bean. All soups are available for takeout, so no more weird looks when you sit around sucking it through a straw.
