Tastykakes prove good things come in small packages, but C.A.K.E. (Creating Access to Kurvaceous Experience) is delicious proof they come in bigger sizes, too. The image-empowerment group, founded by proud-to-be-plus-size couple Taysteecake and Huge Heffnah (aka Cheri and Prate Bailey), promotes societal acceptance of Big Beautiful Women (BBW), Big Handsome Men (BHM) and Fat Admirers (FA). "We believe you can be overweight and still lead a healthy and fulfilling life," says Prate, who defines plus size as women's size 12 and up. The C.A.K.E. community holds monthly parties and Poets At Large readings, but its biggest event is just around the bend: the Fetish and Fantasy Ball in Atlantic City. Ironically enough, the event kicks off with a Gastric Bypass Seminar; a Love Potion Party with an erotic striptease class follows it. After guests have savored the flavor of the shapely Taysteecake Girls, they're invited to wander through Pleasure Palace, a maze of sexy booths featuring body worship, exotic fruit-feeding from buxom beauties and domination. Be sure to save room for dessert — the evening ball's grand finale will crown 2005's Miss Fetish and Mr. Fantasy. Wear a costume and know your acronyms if you want a piece of the pie. Or in this case, cake.
