Hair Police

Rock/pop

These nerds are so much better than Bloc Party it's not even funny. Does Bloc Party make guitar sounds that get compared to horrific murder sequences? Does Bloc Party play noise that sends all my roaches back under the refrigerator and all my goldfish out of their bowls? Would Bloc Party ever collaborate with a dude named Burning Star Core/Death Beam? Has Bloc Party made me cry once (or twice)?

Tue., March 15, 9 p.m., $5 suggested donation, The South Philadelphia Athenaeum, 2011 S. Juniper St. (near Broad St. and Snyder Ave.), 215-594-TIXX.
