More stuff going on this week...
Enter the "Realm of the Senseless" courtesy of Frank Kozik. Known for his poster art for Nirvana, The Rolling Stones and Smashing Pumpkins, he'll show his new cartoony, color-saturated paintings and prints this month. Through Sept. 14, Tin Man Alley, 608 N. Second St., 215-923-1418.
Ever see a production of Shakespeare's King John? Neither did we. Now's our chance. It's a haul, but The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey is mounting the (revisionist) history play, which centers on a 13th-century king who's the brother of Richard the Lionheart and dubious successor to the throne. Through Aug. 17, $29-$43, The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, 36 Madison Ave., Madison, N.J., 973-408-5600.
Molotov Mouths Outspoken Word Troupe, a group of diverse and politically charged writers -- including a gay activist, an African-American essayist and a Chilean poet-- comes to town for an evening of in-your-face personal expression. Mon., Aug. 18, 7:30 p.m., free, Robin's Bookstore, 108 S. 13th St., 215-735-9600.
