Well hot damn, it's going to be a long week on the dance floor.

Once again, the Ill Vibe Collective and Stef Tataz take over Fluid with a night of hip-hop and soul as the second installment of Soul Clap kicks off. The four horsemen, DJs Statik, Panek, Phillee Blunt and Lil' Dave, demonstrate the art of turntablism, from cutting and scratching to deep, dusty crate digging for classic wax that you never knew was classic. Fri., Jan. 17, 10 p.m.-2 a.m., $5, Fluid, 613 S. Fourth St., 215-629-0565, www.illvibe.net.

Fresh for the New Year, it's a brand-new funk, jazz and original music series, The Muse. Hosted by Philly wordsmith Zenzele, the January edition brings fraternal twins The Supa Lowery Brothers to the stage. Join them as they whip up the jazzy, funked-out hip-hop mix the Brothers have dubbed "original street bob." Now isn't that intriguing? Zenzele handles the mic between sets. Sat., Jan. 18, 8 p.m., free, The Rotunda, 4012 Walnut St., 215-573-3234, www.foundationarts.org. Can't get enough of the men of the Ill Vibe Collective? The second fix in as many days is here: Bodyrock. Sat., Jan. 18, 10 p.m.-2 a.m., $5, Aqua Lounge, 323 W. Girard Ave., 215-769-5114, www.illvibe.net.

Yo! It's super Sunday, no school Monday! Let's get it on all night long at The Illadelph Xperiment! It's a new venue but the music promises to be bangin'er than thou as the folks of Squarebiz present DJs Miz, Jay-Swigga, Sat-One (hot album coming sooner than you think), Kenny Meez, Baby DST, Mike Nyce and L-Boogi. Sun., Jan. 19, 9 p.m.-4 a.m., $10, Zero27, 720 Arch St., www.squarebiz.org.

Bang, bang, it's Monday night and we're still partyin' as DJ Cosmo and Ms. Rahnon open the doors to Philly's old standard, The Remedy. This week, straight from Brooklyn, DJ Eleven blesses the decks Big Apple style. Mon., Jan. 20, 10 p.m.-2 a.m., free before 11 p.m., $5, Fluid.

Still want more? Pop on over to The Boom Bap with DJs Low Budget and Major Taylor on the ones and twos, spinning hip-hop and party joints (what else?). Tue., Jan. 21, 10 p.m.-2 a.m., free, Liquid Blue, Sixth and Bainbridge sts., 215-351-9001.
