Drink, drink and be merry: Tickets are on sale for the eighth annual Sippin’ by the River, set for Sept. 22, 1-5 p.m., at the Penn’s Landing Festival Pier, Delaware Ave. and Spring Garden St. Admission ($20 in advance, $25 at the gate, $150 for the VIP tent) gets you access to an array of beer, wine and food spreads; new this year is the Philadelphia Tavern Life Pavilion, featuring historic brews from Yards Brewing Company and grub from Dawson Street Pub of Manayunk.
