Firefighters' March and City Hall Observance. At 8:46 a.m., Local 22 will conduct a silent march from Fourth and Spring Garden streets to the former site of the Meridian building to commemorate lost firefighters. Following that, the City Representative's office hopes people all over the city will observe four minutes of silence. At 11 a.m., a non-denominational prayer service will take place on the west side of City Hall. Kimmel Center Free Concert. Artists include the Philadelphia Orchestra performing the final movement of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony with the Opera Company of Philadelphia Chorus and the Philadelphia Singers; tenor William Burden; Philadanco; Peter Nero and the Philly Pops; the PA Ballet's Dede Barfield; and American Theater Arts for Youth.
