Vincent Price is Matthew Hopkins, the legendary English "Witchfinder General" who finds and burns "witches" as a favor to his country. Mark of the Devil (1969, U.S., 90 min.) Another gory witch-hunt movie, this time with peasant revolts and rowdy mobs attacking the evil new witch finder in town. (A limited number of Mark of the Devil "Vomit Bags," in honor of the promotional stunt at the original theatrical release, will be handed out at the door while supplies last. All right!)
