Ramblin’ Jack Elliott is a character — one who happens to play guitar and sing but mostly one who tells lots of stories. God knows he’s been around long enough and seen enough to have some good’ns. So long, in fact, that folks like Jack Kerouac told stories about him yet Elliott’s still making CDs like the just-released The Long Ride (Hightone).
