You can call 22-year-old Aristh Delgado, the Nicaraguan (now Miami-based) scratchmaster known as DJ Craze, lots of things. But don’t call him unappreciated. He’s a three-time DMC world champ, has won an ITF world scratch title and dropped a wiggity-wack full-length, Crazee Musick (NuGruv/ Bomb Hip-Hop). Now he’s raiding the rave scene with jumpy, scratch-filled sets of drum and bass. Craze rips it up jungle-style on volume 16 of Mixer’s United DJs of America mix-CD series with an assortment of DJ tricks, beat-juggling and melodic cuttin’ and scratchin’. Last time Craze visited was for a hip-hop jawn; This time, he’ll funk-da-fry your ass assassin-style at Dieselboy’s weekly jungle party Platinum.
Thu., April 19, $5, with Icon, Sine and J-Messinian at Fluid, 613 S. Fourth St., 215-629-0565.
