Not the Same Old Scene

Get Funky this week with Strictly FUNK — a 22-member dance troupe that specializes in whipping up a no-holds-barred fusion of hip-hop, jazz, break, locking, popping, tweaking, rhythm tap and theater dance. Performing their latest production, "Make a Scene," the dance company strives to achieve a physical examination and celebration of youth culture. Coupled with music by Nine Inch Nails, Outkast, George Clinton, Michael Jackson, DJ Rap and Janis Joplin spun by two DJs, Scott Melker and Professor Rockwell, Strictly FUNK is out to break the mold. Making direct audience contact by performing all around the club as well as on the stage, the dancers involve clubgoers in a unique nightlife experience. So get your back up off the wall!
