ICA’s Last Chance Dance

image

The sci-fi-inspired wonderments of Bruce Yonemoto and Clint Takeda (video and sculpture respectively — that’s Takeda’s Other Duck at left) remain on view at the Institute of Contemporary Art only through April 22. So ICA’s big Dance Party on the 19th organized by the likes of artists Virgil Marti, Sarah McEneany and Gabriel Martinez not only offers you a chance to dance with a crowd that’s sure at least to look extremely cool, you get to see two very cool shows before they close. Penn DJs will spin hip-hop, trance and house, desserts and coffee and beer come from good places like White Dog and Victory Brewing, and tickets are only five bucks with a student ID (20 bucks without).
