Technical Itch and Decoder

It’s about time we give these boyz some hype in print. U.K.’s Technical Itch and Decoder (a.k.a. Darren Beale and Mark Caro) have been droppin’ the jungle tracks since 1990 as DJs and producers under a slew of aliases and a variety of labels before evolving to Tech Itch Recordings. It wasn’t until 1995 that they first started working together on the road and in T.I. Studio, where Peshay will be recording his next album for Mo Wax. On the dance floor, Beale and Caro may either play back-to-back or straight sets of feverishly hard and mechanical tech-step d’n’b. Due to an escalating kinship with Philly’s own Dieselboy, it seems these assassins have landed an undeclared monthly residency at "Platinum" — all the way from the U.K. If you’re a jungle-head, there’s nothing more to say because you already know.
