Want to party with this guy?
Alright folks, this is big. The second annual Garces Foundation Gala is happening on Thursday, October 3rd. If you're not familiar with this totally out of control evening, here's a little background for you: Basically for one night the city's best chefs take over The Kimmel Center. Big names like, oh, you know, Eli Kulp (Fork), George Sabatino (Morgan's Pier), Eli Collins (Pub & Kitchen), Tim Spinner (La Calaca), Joey Baldino (Zeppoli), Jason Cichonski (Ela) and pretty much everyone else you can imagine set up stations and prepare dishes (plus plenty of cocktails) for a selection number of very charitable individuals who have purchased tickets for the event. The $200 tickets (available right here) go to benefit the Garces Foundation, a non profit committed to bettering the lives of Philadelphia area immigrants.
It's a very good cause if we do say so ourselves but if you don't have $200 sitting around, we've got good news for you. Meal Ticket has two pairs of tickets to give away for this-sure-to-be-a-blast evening. To get your hands on a pair all you have to do is tell us in the comments which Philly chef you'd like to take as your date to the gala and why. We're not promising that we can make the date magic happen (they're all probably working anyway) but our two favorite replies win. Good luck and may the best fantasy date maker upper win!
Contest winners will be announced on Monday, September 30th.
