This Sunday at 7:30 JG Domestic (2929 Arch St.) is hosting a pop up dinner with Ambler's Forest and Main Brewing Company and Tela's Market, the soon to open Fairmount grocery-by-day, family-style-chef's-table-by-night from Garces alum Chad Williams. We've got to say that the beer pairings and menu are looking pretty darn impressive. Here's a look at the menu:
Amuse - Palo Luna (honey saison aged with wild yeast)
1st Course - Ploughman's Bitter (English mild)
Creekstone Farm Dry Aged Beef Tartare with Crisp Caramelized Shallots
Bitter Field Greens with Green Goddess Dressing
Summer Vegetable Tart, Farm Egg Custard and Amazing Acres Goat Cheese
2nd Course - Lunaire (wine barrel aged saison)
Day boat Barnegat Light Seafood in fresh Seaweed Butter
Jersey Corn Chowder, PorkSalt Guanciale, and Green Onion
Crispy New Potatoes with Smoked Garlic and Cured Yolk
3rd Course - Kinch (IPA)
Slow Cooked Eden Farms Pork, Almond Wood Smoke
Sweet Roasted Fennel, Mashed Chickpea, Dill
Roasted Heirloom Carrots with Fresh Buttermilk and Warm Spices
Dessert - Aged Barleywine
Brecknock Orchard Cherry Ice Cream with Brown Butter and Wild Shiso
Ticket are going for $85 and include gratuity plus a few TBD bonus beers courtesy of cohost Jonny Medlinsky. Seating at the pop up is very limited so email Williams to reserve your spot.
