It's the first of the month and that means it's time for another awesome Industry Night at Alla Spina (1410 Mt. Vernon St.) this upcoming Monday night. This month the Vetri crew is celebrating summer by brining in Ian Brendle and Barbie Marshall of Gap, Pa.'s Green Meadow Farm. They're bringing down a truckload of local produce (think corn, tomatoes, peaches and everything else that's so damned good this time of year) and creating a menu to showcase it.
Here's a look at the menu:
Loaded Fries topped with Capon, Beans, and BBQ Sauce
Caramel Corn with Slow Roasted Pork Belly and Salted Peanuts
Corn Frittata with Calabrese Soffritto and Ricotta
Vegetable Spiedini with Pesto Sauce
Stone Fruit Cobbler
Drinks-wise Founders Rübæus summer raspberry ale and Lancaster Kolsch cans are on special along with two fruity summer cocktails TBD. Groovy tunes courtesy of Adam Garbinski of South Philly Tap Room and Adam and Dave's Bloodline fame.
As per usual drinks are cheap and the buffet is complimentary. All you have to do is show up at 10 p.m. with your pay stub to prove your FOH/BOH cred.
