Editor's Note: Welcome to Dinner and a Show, a new column where tell you where to eat before and/or after the show that we're going to.
If you're planning on heading over to PhilaMOCA (531 N. 12th Street. Philadelphia.) tonight to see Hunx & His Punx (and you totally should because who doesn't want to see a band that's been called the female answer to The Misfits), we've got a few Eraserhood dinner options for you.
If you're looking for something quick and cheap, Joes's Tacos (469 N. 10th St.) is where it's at for zucchini blossom quesadillas, carnitas tacos and chicken mole. This unassuming store front puts out some serious Mexican.
Of course, if you're planning on more of a high-low evening you could always swing by Alla Spina (1410 Mt. Vernon St.) for some pre-show bar bites. They've recently added some intriguing new menu items including crab and horseradish deviled eggs and an Italian bánh mi with roasted pork shoulder, chicken liver pâté, pickled daikon and carrot, and cilantro. Also negronis on tap. Just sayin'.
