Is there anything better than reading people's accounts of weird food combos they grew up eating? Until today, I would've said "No, no way is there anything better than that"—and as it turns out, I would've looked like a damn fool. Because there is something way better: a photo essay of grown-up people revisiting those weird food combos! (Well, in some cases, they aren't food combos so much as they are whole sticks of butter.) This just made my day, and that is all I really have to say about that. (via First We Feast)
In an infuriating move borrowed from those horrible, no-good "99 Cent and up" stores, McDonald's is adding things that cost more than a dollar to its Dollar Menu and renaming it the "Dollar Menu and More." Another thing they could've considered calling it is simply their "Menu," which would be just as accurate and a lot less gramatically irritating. (via AdAge)
