Huge thanks to FoodBeast today for effectively ruining my life by alerting me to the existence of sandwich cakes. These are Swedish smorgastartas—aka elaborate layer cakes made out of bread and cream cheese and smoked fish and whatnot—and as of now they are the only thing I truly care about.
